Giving from Home

Have a party
Why not have a fundraising party in your home and invite friends, family and neighbours around. Raise awareness among your friends and see what they can do to help.

Loose change
We all have loose change at home, in drawers, pockets and around the house. Have a loose change spring clean! Start collecting your loose change for Tuesday’s Child. You can lodge your loose change to Tuesday’s Child at any branch of Ulster Bank.

Child to child
One of the greatest things we can teach our children about from an early age is giving. Why not encourage your children to get involved.

One Country Country Spotlight: Zimbabwe... The Nahera College, on the outskirts of Harare provides practical skills training to teenagers in the area. The Centre, run by the Franciscan community, teaches skills such as woodwork, building, roofing and plumbing. The Centre caters for 20 residential students at time and full meals and recreational facilities are provided. Each intake runs for 18 months at the end of which a diploma is awarded. The project keeps teenagers off the street and the skills training enables a start in employment and proactive contribution within local communities (the right to education, the right to health).
